The Golden State Academy – Bay Area is PR7s Rise’s high‑performance pathway for high school rugby athletes in the Bay, preparing them for West Coast competition and beyond. Our goal is to make them the best players on and off the field as they learn from our top-tier professional coaching staff.

Led by PR7s professionals and international rugby stars:

🇸🇪 Tyra Norlander – Played for PR7s Rocky Mountain Experts & Golden State Retrievers, Sweden National Team, All Blues WPL 7s & XV. New to coaching and excited to share everything she has learned over the years as a player.

🇹🇴 Angelina Lomu – Represented Tonga National Team, played for Life West & All Blues 7s & XV, and developed at ARPTC Rugby Academy. Having played for nearly every Bay Area team, Lina embodies the heart of Bay Area rugby.

🐻 Jessica Lewis – A standout at Cal, 5x All-American (3x 15s, 2x 7s), played for All Blues 7s, captain at Life West, and currently coaching at Cal Rugby.
